Everest in 2010. He achieved this feat at the age of 16! At age 17, on 20th May 2011, he became the youngest person ever to summit Lhotse. For these two successful climbs, he received the Guinness World Records certificate, which states that he is the youngest person to summit the two higher 8000ers mountains &#8212; Mt.Everest and Mt. Lhotse.\u202f<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">His journey to become a professional mountaineer started at the age of 13. He had gone to the Sahyadri Hills in Pune along with his Grandfather and that was the first time he knew exactly what he wanted to do.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Arjun is also the youngest to summit Mt. Manaslu on 4 October 2011. Arjun, 29, is one of the world\u2019s youngest mountaineers to summit 6 out of the total 14 highest mountains of the world. All these highest mountain rise above a staggering height of 8000 meters and above. He has also attempted to climb Mt.Everest again in 2021 without oxygen and Sherpa support.\u202f<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Media across the world has extensively covered all his achievements. He is truly a national treasure who has firmly put India on the global map of mountaineering.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Arjun aims to become the youngest Indian to summit all 14 peaks. There are less than 50 climbers who have succeeded, and there is no Indian on the list, yet!\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">At the age of 17, Arjun authored his first book, \u2018On top of the world\u2019 with Penguin Publishers. \u202f<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Arjun\u2019s expeditions are eco-friendly and his team has collected around 26 kgs of waste on one of the climbs. He and his group collected all the waste they created during the journey and then disposed it using biodegradable techniques. He is passionate about conserving the environment and always ensures he brings back more waste from the mountains.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Along with being an \u2018adrenaline junkie\u2019, Arjun is an impactful speaker who shares stories from the mountains.
