Anmol Jaggi, a first-generation entrepreneur and an advocate for clean energy, etched an indelible mark in India’s clean energy landscape with Gensol which he started straight out of college, at the age of 22. Under his leadership, Gensol group has been transforming the clean energy landscape for over 15 years. Gensol Engineering Ltd. is listed on main board NSE and BSE and has a market cap of INR 3200 Crore.
Anmol, a visionary risk-taker, anticipated market needs and ventured in electric mobility in 2019 and co-founded BluSmart, India’s first and largest born electric, full stack, vertically integrated EV ride-hailing service and EV charging infrastructure network. As a disruptor, BluSmart not only overcame customer inconveniences but also challenged existing incumbents by introducing industry firsts like zero ride-denial, transparent pricing, on-time pickups and clean cars. Anmol’s keen business acumen helped BluSmart secure the largest Series A funding in the mobility sector. BluSmart has so far raised USD 200 Mn (approx.) venture capital (equity & debt) which also includes investment by one of the leading global climate funds, responsAbility Climate Fund in Jan ’24.
His ventures reflect a forward-thinking approach and contributing to the renewable energy sector and revolutionizing the mobility industry. Gensol recently ventured into EV Manufacturing and set-up a world-class “designed for electric plant in Chakan, Pune that will soon launch a new modern all-electric, mado-in-India EV, poised to revolutionize zero-emission mobility.
