Kami Viswanathan is President, Middle East, Indian subcontinent, and Africa (MEISA) region for FedEx, and leads the business in more than 65 countries.
Most recently, Kami was Vice President, Marketing for Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa, responsible for strategy and commercial growth in the region, and leading corporate innovation efforts out of India. Kami has been instrumental in shaping strategy for the MEISA region, including the alliance with Delhivery in India, and has played a significant role in the growth of markets in the Middle East and Africa.
Kami has diverse experience of over two decades across consulting, entrepreneurship, and investing. Kami co-founded Lumina Datamatics, a leading provider of educational content and technology solutions to the US and European markets with over 3,000 people across 7 locations globally. She was also founder of work4.0 capital, a cross border investment firm focusing on the future of learning and work, and a member of the strategic advisory board of GSV Ventures, a US-based Edtech fund. Earlier in her career, Kami headed Mergers & Acquisitions and project implementation at Office Tiger, a content solutions partner to leading investment banks and worked with Arthur Andersen’s business advisory practice, helping multinational companies negotiate joint ventures and set up operations in India.
Kami is a fellow of the Aspen Global Leadership Network and serves on several not-for-profit boards. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and is a gold-medalist from the National Law School of India with the BA, LLB (Hons.) degree.
