Maroof Raza is a former Indian infantry officer commentator on military and security issues as the Consulting Editor (for Strategic Affairs) of Times Television network, on which he also hosted the weekend strategic affairs tv show,  “Latitude” on Times Now. His documentaries on ‘Line of Duty’ and ‘Tales of Valour’ have won awards. He has written and lēctured extensively on India’s security concerns and challenges, and has edited/ co-authored : ‘Confronting Terrorism’ & 

“Kashmir’s untold story: Declassified” (published by Bloomsbury in 2019), and his latest book is on “Contested Lands: India, China and the boundary dispute” (published by Westland/Amazon.com).
