Doctorate in the year 2022. Ashneer became a household name through the Shark Tank India inaugural show in 2022 on Sony TV, where he was a Shark (investor) investing in startups pitching on the show. He is credited with single handedly making the show a stupendous success and making start – up culture main stream in India.
At BharatPe, Ashneer made UPI QR codes popular among small shop keepers by making acceptance through QR code FREE in 2018. BharatPe brought more than 1 crore small shopkeepers onto UPI (processing payments of ₹1,60,000 crores annually) and disbursed loans of more than ₹10,000 crores to shopkeepers.

Ashneer is also credited with rescuing and resurrecting Punjab Maharashtra Cooperative Bank (now Unity SFB) in 2021, returning ₹10,000 crores of deposits to more than 10 Lakh small depositors.
