Deepak Aggarwal embarked on his journey in the fashion industry in 1991, when he started a small garment export house after completing his graduation, by name of ‘BL International’. A decade and a half of running

this business provided him with a deep understanding of the industry, unveiling a significant gap in the western clothing market in India.

In 2007, fuelled by a passion for fashion, driven by a vision to revolutionize women’s fashion in the country, and armed with an investment of approximately Rs 40 lakh, Deepak embarked on the journey of creating KAZO. He founded KAZO aiming to amalgamate international fashion trends with a dressy fashion quotient. Today, the company boasts a remarkable turnover of Rs 100 crore, with an extensive presence spanning over 185 points of sale across 70 cities in India.

With a design studio based in Milan, KAZO bridges the gap between ever-changing trends and premium occasion wear, redefining fast fashion with garments that are not only fashionable and trendy but also sustainable and functional. The brand’s vision is to inspire women to embrace their individual style with confidence, elegance, and courage through fashion.

Looking ahead, Deepak has ambitious plans for the expansion of the brand, targeting over 500 points of sale across India. The brand also envisions diversifying into beauty, footwear, furniture, home décor, and ethnic wear in the near future. International expansion is on the horizon as well, with plans to enter the UAE market very soon.
