Hon. Sunil Handunneththi

My name is Sunil Handunnetti, a dedicated politician from Sri Lanka, currently serving as the Minister of Industries and Entrepreneurship Development since November 2024. Born on October 19, 1971, I’ve been actively involved in politics since my university days, where I led the Inter University Students’ Federation. Over the years, I’ve worked with the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) and National People’s Power (NPP), serving in various roles, including as a Member of Parliament and Deputy Minister. My focus has always been on advocating for social justice, economic development, and empowering rural communities. I’m committed to driving positive change for the people of Sri Lanka.
