Colonel Anand Bajpai
Colonel Anand Bajpai is an Infantry Officer and an alumnus of Defence Services Staff College, Wellington and College of Defence Management, Secunderabad. During his highly decorated distinguished service spanning over two decades, he has had varied operational military exposures and diplomatic assignments. Key assignments are enumerated in succeeding paragraphs.
- Present Assignment. Posted as Directing Staff at College of Defence Management, Secunderabad since March 2022.
- Strategic Assignments on Diplomatic Front.
(a) United Nations. Led the Indian contingent as Movement Control Officer to Democratic Republic of Congo under the ambit of United Nations Chapter VII Peace Enforcement Mission (MONUC) in 2008-09.
(b) India – Russia Strategic Collaboration. Part of India-Part of Trg Directing Panel for Joint Indo-Russian Exercise INDRA held at Sergevisky Ranges in Vladivostok, Russia in 2014 and Inbound Ex held in 2015.
(c) India – Brazil Collaboration. Represented India as a trainer for Civil Military Coordination Cohort held at Rio-de-Janerio, Brazil as part of Indo-Brazil Collaboration undertaken by CCOPAB Brazil in 2016, which was subscribed by 42 Member Nations.
(d) India – Sri Lanka Engagement. Conducted Net Assessment of Sri-Lanka and Senior Strategic Military Officers were trained on the deliverables at National Defence College Sri Lanka in 2023-24. Also led a team of senior military leaders for International Strategic Management Tour to Sri Lanka as part of enhanced cooperation initiative.
(e) India – Uzbek Strategic Discussion. Part of team of Train the Trainers since 2022 to as part of India Uzbek MOU for collaboration on Defence Studies.

Special invitee for Ash Carter Debate on National Competitiveness as part of AI Expo-2024 undertaken by SCSP held at Washington D.C. in May 2024. Panellist at Global AI Expo 2024 held under aegis of Confederation of Indian Industries and other forums of repute.
