Shri Devendra Fadnavis is widely regarded as one of India’s most investor-friendly and reform-oriented political leaders. He currently serves as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, having assumed office for the third time on December 5, 2024, leading the Mahayuti Government. Earlier, he served as Deputy Chief Minister from 2022 to 2024.
Under his visionary leadership, Maharashtra—India’s third-largest state by area and second-largest by population—has consolidated its position as the country’s most industrialised and economically advanced state, contributing nearly 25% of India’s total industrial output. Today, the State continues to rank as India’s top recipient of FDI.
Known for combining economic reform with inclusive development, Shri Fadnavis has successfully partnered with industry on transformative initiatives such as the Village Social Transformation Mission, SMART (agri-value chains), and Sahabhag, reinforcing investor confidence while driving sustainable and socially responsible growth.
