Nikhil Sharma is the Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer for South Asia at Radisson Hotel Group (RHG), headquartered in Gurugram. With over two decades of experience in the hospitality sector, he is at the helm of RHG’s dynamic South Asia region, overseeing a portfolio of more than 180 hotels in operation and development.
In his current role, Nikhil is instrumental in driving Group’s strategic growth, operational excellence, and revenue expansion across South Asia. He is committed to strengthening the leadership in the Indian market, fostering meaningful partnerships, and positioning RHG as an employer of choice within the hospitality ecosystem. His leadership reflects a deep understanding of the region’s unique market dynamics and a visionary approach to hospitality management.
Before joining RHG, Nikhil held leadership roles with prominent hospitality brands. As Market Managing Director for Eurasia at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, he successfully navigated various facets of business operations. As Chief Operating Officer at Ginger Hotels (IHCL), Nikhil led the brand’s successful transformation and expansion, positioning it as a key player in the Indian hospitality sector. Notably, he was a founding member of Lemon Tree Hotels, playing a pivotal role in establishing it as one of India’s fastest-growing upscale hotel chains. His active involvement in industry committees and associations reflects his commitment to shaping the future of India’s hospitality landscape.
Nikhil’s academic credentials include a degree in Catering and Nutrition from the Institute of Hotel Management, Pusa, New Delhi. He has also completed advanced programs in Operations Modelling and Managing Strategic Growth & Leadership in Emerging Markets at prestigious institutions such as the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, and Cornell University, New York.
