Ruchika Panesar’s Bio:

Ruchika Panesar is the Country Head – India and the Chief Digital and Information Officer for the Group Functions at NatWest Group, one of the UK’s leading banks. A transformational and purpose-driven leader, Ruchika brings over two decades of experience across Banking, FinTech, and Payments, with deep expertise in enterprise technology, platform modernization, and digital innovation. 

She has successfully led large-scale transformation initiatives by leveraging emerging technologies – including AI and GenAI - to build enterprise-grade platforms and deliver customer-centric innovation across business domains.

Before joining NatWest, Ruchika held several global leadership roles at American Express in New York and India, where she led product development, engineering, and technology strategy to drive impactful customer and employee experiences.

Ruchika is also a member of the Executive Council at NASSCOM, contributing to India’s broader technology and innovation ecosystem. A passionate advocate for education, STEM inclusion, and empowerment, she actively sponsors programs for underrepresented minorities and emerging talent in tech.
