Prasenjit Pal is a seasoned engineering and energy leader with over three decades of experience across India’s power sector. He has served as Executive Director (Nuclear) at NTPC Ltd and is currently CEO of NTPC Parmanu Urja Nigam Ltd, leading the development of India’s nuclear energy portfolio. Prasenjit has played a pivotal role in conceptualising and executing large-scale power projects from planning to commissioning, including renovation and modernisation initiatives. He is the Project Director of the Mahi Banswara Rajasthan Atomic Power Project, India’s first greenfield nuclear joint venture under ASHVINI. A Bachelor of Engineering from Nagpur University and a Silver Medallist from NTPC’s 1988 batch, he brings deep technical expertise, strong project leadership, and a commitment to sustainable energy development.
