Emmvee Photovoltaic Power Limited is a solar module manufacturer and the second-largest pure-play integrated solar photovoltaic (PV) module and solar cell manufacturing company, as well as one of the largest solar PV module manufacturers in India, in each case in terms of production capacity(source: CRISIL Report). Incorporated in 2007 and headquartered in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
As of December 2025, the company has a solar PV module production capacity of 10.3 GW and a solar cell production capacity of 2.94 GW, supported by a track record of over 18 years in the industry. Emmvee is also among the first companies in India to adopt TOPCon (Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact) technology, enabling the manufacture of high-efficiency solar cells and modules.
Over the years, Emmvee has built a strong presence in the domestic market while also expanding internationally through its subsidiaries in Germany and the United States, engaging in the manufacturing, trading, and distribution of solar products. The company was originally incorporated as Emmvee Toughened Glass and Photovoltaics Private Limited and was renamed Emmvee Photovoltaic Power Private Limited in 2007 to align with its renewable energy focus. In 2025, it was converted into a public limited company, becoming Emmvee Photovoltaic Power Limited.
