He has been a trusted advisor to central ministries, including the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), and the Ministry of Tourism (MoT), as well as to state governments in Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, and Madhya Pradesh. He has also worked extensively with leading agencies such as the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and NIC, providing critical insights for large-scale policy and development projects.

Earlier in his career, Sameer held leadership positions at Ericsson and TCS, where he gained extensive international exposure, spending over eight years in the U.S. and China.
