HM Queen Rania Al Abdullah

Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah is a humanitarian committed to championing tolerance and empathy between people of all backgrounds. Her work focuses on promoting cross-cultural dialogue, advocating for refugee rights, and finding solutions to the world’s greatest challenges.

Queen Rania is an influential global voice in challenging stereotypes of Arabs and Muslims, and fostering understanding between people of different cultures.

Through her position on their boards, Her Majesty contributes to the work of the United Nations Foundation and the World Economic Forum. She is also UNICEF’s first Eminent Advocate for Children, and a Global Co-Chair of the World Economic Forum’s Giving to Amplify Earth Action (GAEA) initiative.

In recognition of her work, Queen Rania has received several awards including the Foreign

Press Association’s Humanitarian Award, the Atlantic Council Global Citizen Award, and the Path to Peace Award, which Her Majesty received jointly with His Majesty King Abdullah II.
