Santosh Iyer is the Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India. He has been associated with Mercedes-Benz since 2009 in various leadership roles. At Mercedes-Benz Santosh directs the company’s India market strategy, curating future growth roadmap, strategizing market expansion and building strong foundation for a future ready vibrant and diverse organization.

Prior to his appointment as the MD & CEO, Santosh was the Vice President, Sales & Marketing of the company. He successfully led the company’s digital transformation, establishing online sales and steering it to a sustainable growth during the pandemic. Santosh was pivotal in conceptualizing and implementing ‘Retail of the Future’ business model, with India as one of the first markets within Mercedes-Benz AG, to have successfully implemented this model in 2021. Santosh started his career with Avery India Ltd. His entrepreneurial ambitions later took him to Nepal, for distribution and servicing of capital equipment. Setting up a successful business there, he moved back to India, joining Yamaha Motors. He had management stints at Indian subsidiaries of global automotive MNCs like Toyota and Ford, prior to joining Mercedes-Benz.

A Graduate in Commerce from Mumbai University, Santosh holds an MBA from University of Indianapolis and a Masters in Corporate Governance and Compliance from the University of Lake Konstanz, Germany.

I am a member of The National Taskforce for Regulatory Issues, DPIIT Ministry of Commerce, India, on the Governing Council of TEAM (Tech Entrepreneurs Association of Mumbai) and on the Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs Association. My name is Sunil Handunnetti, a dedicated politician from Sri Lanka, currently serving as the Minister of Industries and Entrepreneurship Development since November 2024. Born on October 19, 1971, I’ve been actively involved in politics since my university days, where I led the Inter University Students’ Federation. Over the years, I’ve worked with the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) and National People’s Power (NPP), serving in various roles, including as a Member of Parliament and Deputy Minister. Bingumal, better known as Bingu, was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Standard Chartered Bank, Sri Lanka on 1 January 2019. Apart from his role as CEO, Bingu also heads Sri Lanka’s Banking and Coverage CIB (Corporate and Investment Banking) business.

Pranjali Awasthi, born in 2007 in India, is a 16-year-old entrepreneur renowned for founding Delv.AI, an artificial intelligence startup. At the age of 11, she relocated to Florida, USA, where she delved into coding, a passion ignited by her engineer father. By 13, she was interning at Florida International University, focusing on machine learning projects.

In January 2022, Pranjali launched Delv.AI, aiming to streamline research data extraction and summarization using AI. Her innovative approach led to securing $450,000 in funding, valuing her company at approximately $12 million.
