Vinay leads the business strategy and investments functions at Premier Energies. Prior to this, he led clean energy advisory and research business at CRISIL, an S&P Global company and had co-founded BRIDGE TO INDIA advising project developers, investors, equipment suppliers and policy makers on issues related to business strategy, market environment, policy framework, power procurement and finance.
Vinay has spent over 16 years as a project financier covering renewable energy, transport and infrastructure sectors across Europe and Asia. His other job stints include roles at Standard Charted Bank as Senior Director, Project Finance, National Australia Bank, Sumitomo Mitsui Bank and ICICI Securities.
Vinay holds an MBA degree from London Business School and IIM Ahmedabad in addition to a Mechanical Engineering degree from Delhi Technological University.

Emmvee manufactures high quality photovoltaic modules and also develops large solar power plants which generate electricity. The generated power is sold to private companies and DISCOM, which will be used for their consumption. Emmvee also manufactures solar water heaters, well known as Solarizer.

Born in the year 1969 in Chintamani to eminent couple Donthi Venkatarathnaiah Setty & Radhamma,

Manjunatha is the 5th child among six children. Manjunatha is married to Shubha and is blessed with two sons, Suhas & Sumanth.

A commerce graduate from St. Joseph’s college in Bengaluru, his thirst for contributing to the society started at the young age of 13 while he high schooled in Chintamani. Being from family of traders, business was in his genes. He started doing small time business during his summer holidays. To pursue higher studies, Manjunatha moved to Bengaluru. The hunt for doing something unique went on with this young man. Those days and even today, there was severe shortage of electricity due to which the consumers suffered especially during peak hours. Manjunatha quickly analysed that the worst sufferer was the common man for basic needs like electricity for cooking and hot water for bathing. There were not many viable solutions to counter this problem. Manjunatha realised that this is where he can make a difference to the society. He started researching on this and realised that using solar energy was a viable option and the energy is available freely. Those days, having solar

cooker’s to be openly cooked in an open ground was not a suitable option in cities. So the next option

was solar water heaters. The concept of usage of solar energy was in a rudimentary stage and with lot of research, in the year 1992; Manjunatha started the manufacturing of solar water heaters in Bengaluru and started catering it to the local market. Today Emmvee’s Solarizer, solar water heater is one of the best products available in India with customised offerings to the consumer.

Emmvee group, which had its humble beginning with manufacturing of solar water heaters, has diversified its business under the visionary of Mr.Manjunatha. His multivision made him realise the power deficit in the country due to fast growing industrialisation. In the year 2007, he started with manufacturing of solar photovoltaic modules, which generates electricity from solar energy. He also made Emmvee as a strong player in photovoltaic power projects of megawatt scale with also providing products to individual and commercial consumers in small scale. Emmvee develops large solar power plants for its customers and also sells the power to required customers. Today, Emmvee is one of the prominent names not only in the country but also globally. Mr.Manjunatha has driven the company through his great vision and quick adaptability. Not a tech savvy, but very quick to adopt technology. It is very evident from the high quality products and services he offers to the customers. Emmvee today exports its products to quality sensitive European market.

Mr. Subramanyam Yadavalli is a seasoned executive with over 35 years of experience, providing expertise in fiscal management, strategic planning, marketing, branding, and operations leadership in uniquely challenging situations. He holds a postgraduate degree in Management Studies and has did several management courses   from prestigious institutions such as IIM Bangalore, IIM Ahmedabad, Singapore Management University, Berkeley University, Wharton School, and Kellogg School of Management.

Mr. Yadavalli has played a pivotal role in establishing numerous. tertiary care hospitals, emergency response systems, telemedicine centres, and healthcare facilities in major tier 1 cities as well as tier 2 and tier 3 cities. Notably, he established a Cardiac hospital in Bahrain and over sees the operations management of hospitals in abroad. Throughout his three-decade career, he has managed over 2000 beds across 10 hospitals and is overseeing the operations at a postgraduate medical college. He serves as a board director for Medvarsity University and mentors several startup companies in the health tech sector.

Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Yadavalli has a keen interest in philanthropy and is strongly involved supporting organizations such as the Sonu Sood Charitable Foundation, Save a Child Heart foundation, SAHI for deaf children, and CURE foundation for cancer patients.
