Dr. Sandeep Kumar is the Chief Executive of LTSCT, India’s largest semiconductor product company. With over 35 years of experience in technology, he has played a pivotal role in driving global leadership in energy-efficient chip design and innovation.

Under his leadership, LTSCT is pioneering a new era of fabless semiconductor innovation, focusing on designing high-performance, energy-efficient semiconductor technologies. These advancements are enabling transformative innovation across the mobility, industrial, and energy sectors, shaping the future of connected intelligence. With a proven track record of years building and scaling technology businesses globally, he is recognised as a pioneer in the Indian semiconductor industry, having co-founded multiple tech ventures and held leadership roles in several fast-growing companies.

Dr. Kumar currently serves as the chairperson of the ICEA India Semiconductor Product Design Leadership Forum, which brings together leaders from across the design ecosystem, including fabless firms, IP providers, tool vendors, and system integrators, to address structural challenges and shape a forward-looking roadmap for design-led semiconductor growth. He also holds Chief Mentor for the Indian government’s AI CoE, Neuron, and chairs the boards of Qritrim (enterprise AI), Bhartel (communications and energy systems), and Mekumi (EdTech). Additionally, he is a Partner at Kizki Japan Fund, TMPC Japan, and Global Ascent Partners.

Dr. Kumar is also an active investor and advisor, serving on the boards of various global startups and MNCs worldwide and as a partner for multiple venture firms. Before his entrepreneurial journey, he held key roles at Texas Instruments, including heading the Broadband Business and Global Microcontroller R&D divisions, and was a Managing Partner at TechRanch incubator. He is an alumnus of IIT Delhi and holds an Honorary Doctorate from Amity University, awarded in recognition of his 35-year impact on the semiconductor industry.
