Universal Success Enterprises Limited (USEL), founded in 1995 by Mr. Prasoon Mukherjee, is a Singapore-headquartered multinational company with a strong footprint across South Asia and Southeast Asia. Operating across infrastructure, energy, and hospitality, USEL’s diverse portfolio spans mega townships, industrial parks, data centers, coal mining, renewable energy, and TGI Fridays restaurants, for which it serves as the Master Franchisee for South and Southeast Asia. Supported by a team of over 1,000 professionals, USEL continues to drive sustainable growth through landmark developments such as the Kolkata West International City township and a state-of-the-art data center in Bengal Silicon Valley.

Mr. Prasoon Mukherjee is a first-generation entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist, widely recognized as an industry leader. He serves as an honorary member of several inter-governmental advisory bodies, delegations, and think tanks. Currently, he is the Chairman of the India Business Committee under the prestigious Singapore Business Federation (SBF). In addition, he holds the roles of Vice Chairman of SBF’s Internationalisation Action Committee and Vice Chairman of SBF’s Southeast Asia Business Group. He also serves as an advisor to Nanyang Polytechnic International and the Singapore Manufacturing Federation.

Guided by Mr. Mukherjee’s vision to build world-class enterprises in hospitality, township development, industrial parks, and energy, USEL emphasizes the use of advanced technology, innovative design, and modern architecture, while giving due importance to environmental stewardship and community welfare. Staying true to this philosophy, USEL has emerged as one of Eastern India’s leading infrastructure development organizations, with credentials that include over 20 million square feet of development and the creation of more than 125,000 jobs across sectors.

Over the past decade, the group has invested approximately Rs. 10,000 crore in India. It now plans to scale its investments by an additional Rs. 12,000 crore in the near term. Proposed investments include Rs. 7,000 crore in Uttar Pradesh focused on logistics parks, Rs. 2,300 crore in Gujarat including a solar park, Rs. 700 crore in Assam covering logistics, renewable energy, and thermal power, and Rs. 2,000 crore in West Bengal encompassing data centers and logistics projects.

Mr. Mukherjee has been honored twice with the prestigious “Best Bengali Entrepreneur of the World” award, in 2009 and 2019, at the North America Bengali Conference. A committed humanitarian, he actively supports social initiatives ranging from disaster relief and assistance to the physically challenged to the promotion of national-level sports, as well as the sponsorship of book fairs and film festivals.
