With a GSDP of INR 9,94,154.08 crores in 2022-23, Haryana has become a key contributor to India’s economic landscape. Per capita income has surged to INR 2,96,685, reflecting the state’s prosperity. The literacy rate, educational institutions, and electrification of villages showcase Haryana’s commitment to holistic development. 

Education and Skill Development: Haryana has made significant strides in education, with 544 technical education institutes, 918 colleges and universities for higher education, and 15 medical colleges. The establishment of Shri Vishwakarma Skill University underscores the state’s dedication to skill-based education and innovative learning models. 

Awards and Recognitions: Haryana has garnered numerous accolades, including being the first state in Anemia Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, providing free medicines for hepatitis C and B, and achieving top ranks in the Ease of Doing Business index. The state’s initiatives in animal husbandry, cleanliness campaigns, and digital services have earned it prestigious awards and recognitions. 

Infrastructure Development and Industrial Growth: Haryana’s HSIIDC (Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation) has been instrumental in fueling industrial growth with numerous industrial estates, parks, and model townships. The state is spearheading projects like the Kandi-Manesar Palwal Expressway, Integrated Multi-Modal Logistic Hub, and Electronics Manufacturing Cluster, showcasing its commitment to modern infrastructure. 

Progressive Policies: Haryana’s forward-thinking policies encompass various sectors, including electric vehicles, logistics, warehousing, data centers, and startups. The state’s Electric Vehicle Policy offers substantial incentives, and schemes like Single Roof Clearance System and PM Gatishakti focus on ease of doing business and infrastructure development.
