Lalitha is a transformational business leader with nearly three decades of cross-border experience. Her professional journey has been defined by strategic advisory, IT services, digital transformations, and the establishment of Global Capability Centers across the globe. She has catalysed exponential growth in services organisations such as IBM in consulting and in product companies such as SAP. Her notable accomplishments include setting up greenfield GCCs like Cargill Business Services from the ground up and transforming basic shared services hubs for IKEA into high-performing capability powerhouses across multiple international locations.

Lalitha brings unparalleled expertise in architecting and scaling global entities. She has successfully launched multiple legal entities from ground zero, ensuring seamless compliance at every level while driving operational excellence and sustainable growth.

In her current role as the CEO of JLR – Technology & Business Services India (GCC), Lalitha spearheads JLR TBSI’s strategic vision, business enablement, and transformation agenda. Under her leadership, the entity pioneers breakthrough innovation and builds niche capabilities and solutions across Enterprise Chapters, including Product Engineering, Innovation Hub, Industrial Operations, Finance, Digital, and the People Chapter. Her focus remains on delivering value-driven outcomes and enabling cross-functional synergies to accelerate both business and people growth.

Lalitha holds a graduate degree in Commerce with a specialization in Management Accounting. She also completed a post-graduate General Management Programme from the Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata, holds certifications from e-Cornell University, and is currently pursuing a law degree.

Beyond her professional commitments, Lalitha plays an influential role in broader business communities and industry bodies. She is currently serving as a member of the NASSCOM Engineering and R&D Council (25–27), is a former member of the NASSCOM GCC Council, and has served as Chairperson of NASSCOM’s Regional Council for Karnataka. Over the past decade, she has been a strategic contributor to corporate governance and has held directorships in multiple organizations.
